From Kuala Lumpur with LVoe
I enjoy seeing the windows of Louis Vuitton boutiques so when readers like Amy from Kuala Lumpur sent me these photos of the Champs-Elysées store decked out for Valentine's Day, I was in LVoe!!! Of course, no trip would be complete without her picking up a souvenir, her very first LV ~ a Damier Insolite Wallet. Click the pics to enlarge. Terima kasih for sending it in, A. Congratulations! LVoe it!!!
First LVook: Damier Verona MM
Ooohhhh Bagaholicboy just posted this on his FB ~ Damier Ebene Verona MM. Estimated price $1290.
First LVook: Cosmic Blossom
The latest collaboration from Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami for Spring Summer 2010 is the Cosmic Blossom Collection. Vuitton and Murakami's flowers are interspersed creating a pattern that is dizzyingly delicious. Serigraphed onto the fabric, it will come in rose, bleu and violet and will be released on April 15, 2010. Photos from stylerumor.com.

Night at the Museum
Since it opened, I have been wanting to check out the Terra Cotta Warriors at the National Geographic. As a belated Valentine's Day celebration, Jeff planned an evening for us of dinner and a museum. I was at awe to actually see them up-close. There were only a handful but the docent said that it's hard to seem them in China because they occupy a big expanse. This way, you are a mere three feet away and could actually see the amount of work and detail that went into each warrior. LVoe it!!! Waiting in line with Lucy. Remember the Jack and Lucy Charm from Halloween '06? Well, this is where the name Lucy came from. (at that time, the oldest human remains but I believe this is a replica)
One of the warriors wanted to pose with my Beaubourg. Doesn't he LVook dashing? (Don't worry, this is a replica too)

Louis Vuitton Courtney in Fuschia
Still tugging the strings of LVoe are the February releases, the Fucshia Courtney Pochette and MM Bag. Crafted out of embossed vache leather, the Monograms are highlighted by this not so subtle colour. Made for those who wish to make a bold statement, it is a akin to its more colourful cousin from the Murakami Collection. $3550 for the bag and $1870 for the pochette. Visit your local LV boutique.

LVook See: Pochette Rococo & Brodé
Also today, I received snapshots for the upcoming pieces this Spring Summer 2010. First off is the Pochette Rococo. Continuing with the Cruise 2010 reticule, this pochette will come in violet, noir and argent and slated to be released at $2090. You could also see a clearer pic here.
A new shoulder bag is also on its way and is called the Brodé or Antheia . Crafted out of soft lambskin, it will be released in four colours and will have aged hardware. I think it will be previewed soon at the Maison but will be released sometime in early June. LVoe it!!!
I can't wait to see them both. Special thanks to Danny!
