First LVook: Kanye West Sneaker

As for the design that was previewed in the FW Men's 2009-2010 Show, here are other colorways of that same footwear. LVoe it too!!!

First LVook: Velcro'd Up from Kanye West

We've seen the preview of Martin Louis' shoes from the Fall Winter 2009-2010 Men's Fashion show but here are the latest installments from his shoe collection. Appropriately named Velcro'd Up, it comes in several colorways with double velcro straps that have that signature thick lip in the back that serves as an ankle pad. Women's get the adorable, tasseled laces. Soon to be released in June 2009. LVoe it!!!

Kanye West Debuts his Sneaker for Vuitton

We've been reading about Mr. West's collaboration with Vuitton but yesterday's Fall Winter Menswear show was the stage in which he presented his beLVoed design. Designing five styles for LV, the quilted back sneaker was the first to be seen on the runway. “I was inspired by the movie Dune. The collection had all these jackets that were very padded. They looked like maybe they had hockey pads in the jacket, and there was one where the collar came up really high. I took that element, and I put that on the back of the shoe. It’s like the opposite of the tongue. Usually you have the tongue at the front. [This is] like a tongue at the back,”, West says. Source: People

Vuitton Don moving to London to apprentice at LV

Rapper Kanye West is apparently moving to London to pursue his LVoe of fashion. The hitmaker is reportedly set to apprentice in fashion houses including Vuitton's headquarters there. The hip-hop star, who is currently designing his own line called Pastelle, is desiring to study in order to learn the ropes of the fashion world. Hmmm...I wonder if he would get a special craftman's privelege to come up with his own unique Vuitton piece.

The Christopher

I once read an article that backpacks are only for 12-year old boys and that the modern, urban man should be carrying a man bag such as a messenger or body sling. Seeing the Christopher with its "special order" counterparts is making me rethink this proposition. Check it out: The men who wear the Christopher This Photo: fashionphile Epi Leather (approx. $7K) Kanye West with his Damier Azur (approx. $6K)
