Happy Halloween!!!

Updates from the Japanese website

First LVook: Damier Azur Galliera

Another November 1st release is the Damier Azur Galliera. Much awaited by some, but left flat by others this piece coincides with the Resort Cruise 2009 collection release. GM $1460, PM $1270. Visit www.louisvuitton.com or purchase from eLUXURY.com.

First LVook: Inclusion Ring

I LVoe this new ring. I never really liked the bulky one but this flat design is a two thumbs up for me. $160. To LVoe it, visit www.louisvuitton.com or purchase from eLUXURY.com.

First LVook: Astrid Wallet

I never knew this wallet even existed 'til I browsed the website tonite. It's a zipped clutch that boasts compartments and pockets galore. Looks to me like a morphed Eugenie wallet stuck to a Complice. $805 at www.louisvuitton.com or to save on tax, purchase from eLUXURY.com.

First LVook: Galliera Riviera in stores tomorrow!!!

Made out of a cotton canvas material somewhat similar to that of the discontinued Antigua collection, this reinterpretation of the Galliera has the Saint Tropez Scarf design printed on it. Thanks Arjay for the spy pics! UPDATE: I went to the boutique to see this baby in real life and was informed that they changed the name to Galliera Riviera. $1940

Please buy me, Monogram Olympe Nimbus

Still available from www.louisvuitton.com, the Nimbus from the Monogram Olympe was a seasonal piece from Winter 07. It comes in Gris Perle and Charcoal Grey and can be wrapped up for you to enjoy before Halloween. Prices are PM $2180, GM $2860.

First LVook: The Odéon UPDATE ON PRICE

Somewhat similar to the Besace Angèle of Mini Lin fame, the Odéon is a new introduction to the Monogram Canvas collection that will soon hit Holiday shoppers everywhere. It is yet another handheld-shoulder bag combo that fits the needs of our busy world today. Coming out in three different sizes, the Odeon promises to prove to be yet another entry level piece for the House of Vuitton. I can't wait to see it in real life. LVoe it!!! UPDATE: Prices are expected to be GM $1100, MM $855 and PM $725.

Happy High Heel Race Everyone!!!

One of DC's most awaited pre-Halloween festivities, the High Heel Race is an annual gathering of 100 or so drag queens in full regalia parading 17th street. Beginning around 7:00 PM the Tuesday before Hallow's Eve, it culminates in the actual race at 9 o'clock. Fabulously rambunctious, the crowds endure the usually cold weather with jeer and cheers lasting through the night. What better way to celebrate this fabulous event than with a parade of Louis Vuitton's Spring Summer 2009 Shoe Collection. LVoe it!!!

The Delphes

I have been lusting over the Lutèce for quite sometime with the sure hope of winning the lottery anytime now, that I have completely neglected the other exotics in this year's Fall Winter Collection. The Delphes, constructed out of perforated python, is a $6,000-bag that is a must have for LVoers everywhere. I am hoping and praying that the Chevy Chase Collection might have it sometime soon or perhaps I will see it in the near future in a more, shall we say, grandiose location...*wink* *wink*

Vuitton Sunglasses Collection Autumn 2008

To LVoe it, visit www.louisvuitton.com. or eLUXURY.com. Note: I am wearing Spring Summer 2008 Faux Semblant Carre.

Congratulations Marylanders!!!

Louis Vuitton is opening its first Greater Baltimore location next summer in Towson Town Center. The planned 3,900-square footage will hopefully house not only leather goods, but shoes and accessories as well. This will be the fifth store in my immediate area and could prove to be a delightful rest stop on our occasional jaunts to Baltimore City.

Diamonds and Deluxe Duck

Called Les Ardentes, these special cut diamonds are the perfect way to ice oneself for the season. Designed by Anne Cabarbaye, this one-of-a-kind parrure - comprising a ring, bracelet, earrings and necklace - is making its way to every LV Maison and Global store around the world to tempt their top most tier clients into surrendering their chequebooks to its brilliance. They're not just any diamond set jewellery. Each stone is cut specially to mimic the house's iconic quatrefoils with 66 to 77 different facets, these unique LV diamonds outshine the traditional brilliant or conventional princess cut diamonds. Verbatim from DD's journal.

Tate and Eva

Two of the season's must have, these new additions to the ever popular Damier Collection are keepers. Inspired by the Tate Modern Museum in London town, the Tate affords ample space and an adjustable leather strap to boot. On the other hand, the Eva, who has won the hearts of LVoers everywhere with its dual chain-leather strap combo, is making a comeback, but this time with the hope of pleasing checkered addicts. Prices are $1110 Tate GM; $945 Tate PM and $550 Eva. Visit www.louisvuitton.com or to save on tax, purchase from eLUXURY.com.

Sumptuous Suede: The Chelsea Pump

Seldom do I look at women's shoes but I was particularly bored this afternoon. Much to my surprise, this popped right out from eluxury's shoe page. The Chelsea Pump, with its sleek, classic design, I LVoe the button avec le petit Monogram. There is much to be said about peep toe shoes and this has it in aces. At first I thought it was named after NYC's Chelsea but I was enlightened by elux's description: "Name inspired by the chic and affluent neighborhood in south-west London" A mere $875. My Mon Monogram is being faked!

Yup, that's right folks. I got an MMS text from a friend that even my very own initials are being faked nowadays. I have made it a rule not to feature fakes out there but this is hilarious and down right insane! I guess, my photos of the Mon Monogram was the first to appear online so immediately the unscrupulous counterfieters latched on it not knowing what they stand for. Not only did they copy my initials but the color combo I chose to go with it. Sigh...for the actual listing click here.
