Vernis Alma in Saks' "Behind the Seams"

I was so excited when the Alma Vernis was announced. I even got more excited when I saw pics of it in the catalogue. But, when I saw it in real life, I decided to pass. Not that it didn't suit my taste because I LVoed it, but I didn't like the fact that it's readily available. To this day I see it in every boutique that I go to. The amarante is my favorite of the trio. It's deep, dark color is sleek and classy. The pomme d'amour is a close second due to it's playful and sexy character. Lastly, the violette is supposedly the more limited of the three. MM $2000; GM 2410. Something to consider before the looming price increase. Visit www.louisvuitton.com or eLUXURY.com

  1. Hi. What's your take on the color transfer issues regarding the Vernis?

  2. Hey, sorry for the delayed response. I completely forgot about this post. Well, I have read that some Vernis colors are more prone to transfer issues, ex. Perle, Mint, light colored ones. Hopefully these new Vernis are more resilient due to better technology in making them. I would still be careful not to expose them to sunlight 'coz this might make the colors fade. I hope I answered your question. Visit again soon!
