Blast from the Past: Louis Vuitton Squichy

I thought I would never see this other than runway pictures from the Fall Winter 2006 Collection, so it was a delight to see them from a reseller's website. The Squichy (which came in black, red and white) was released even before I got into LV. I glimpsed of a white one once, in a mall but it was too far away to see the details. Constructed out of vinyl and what seems to be embroidery technique, this seasonal item sold for $1700 at the time. I know, they kinda look like glorified trash bags but still, they are quite unique. Also, I believe this was the first season wherein LV released its now signature Inventuer Plate. Correct me if I am wrong about this, LVoe readers. A true Blast from the Past. LVoe it!!! Check out the listing here.

  2. Hi CrazyforLV, It really depends on the store manager. Since it's not even a year, they are obligated to do something about it under LV's warranty. The SM will either have it sent out for repair or replace it with a new one. The Tivoli is part of the core collection so I doubt that they would give you store credit. What happened to it by the way? GoodLVck and I hope that everything works out.

  3. i really like the Monogram LVinyl collection. the way the monogram pattern was achieved is quite baffling. i still kinda wish i had the Messenger. the Inventeur plaque first appeared on their Trianon Ostrich bags for Spring 2004 to celebrate their 150th. here's my mum's Sac De Nuit MM: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/uncreated/LV%20Collection/SDN1.jpg
