Louis Vuitton Monogram Eclipse Collection

Featured in www.louisvuitton.com today are the carrier pieces of the Fall Winter 2009-2010 Collection. Named Monogram Eclipse due to the partial obscuring of the flowers and initials by brilliant sequins, this highly tedious task of embroidering them onto thick, coated canvas transforms the collection into shimmering works of art.     i saw these at the store.. they were unboxing it in front of the display bar so I asked one of the SA's to hand me one so I could take a closer look.

    I touched it and the sequins look really fragile and may easily come off the canvas even if its gently pulled. It's a really nice bag, especially the gold ones but it looks really fragile and easily damaged. and we all know we can be careless with our bags from time to time.
