From Abu Dhabi with LVoe

Randy from the United Arab Emirates just sent me this pic of his friend's fabulous hardcases. And boy, his pic took my breath away. If there is one thing missing in my collection, it's a hardcase. I am hoping to get a nice antique someday though. The kind that smells like naphthalene balls and is a world away from our time. Sigh...someday. Thanks for sharing, R. LVoe it!!! Correct me if I'm wrong but we have a Damier Graphite Coteville, a Damier Graphite Case with Mirror, Monogram Canvas Case and a Monogram Canvas Coffret Trésor. UPDATES FROM RANDY: More pics of his friend's hardcases.

  1. I don't know which one I like more, the Damier Graphite and Sliver trim looks so hot! but the Monogram and Brass is classic!

  3. Not to be rude or offensive but to my knowledge, no Coteville was ever made in Graphite. And as I am looking at the canvas on one of those Graphite hardcases---you can tell that the checkered canvas is not consistent at the seams.

Coteville was only made in monogram canvas. Hmm.

  5. Love them! the graphites'! I've seen the Graphite Coteville (special order)at the Rodeo Dr. Store in Beverly Hills, on display...
It's real! The checkered canvas needs to be consistent on the face of the item; which it is here.
Monogram canvas has different rules than the Damier canvas; in constructed.

  8. Hehehehe...you are always welcome here Ms. Manette. As for Anonymous' post, thanks for clarifying that. As you all know, I try not to "authenticate" what people send me since I am no LV expert. I give my readers the benefit of the doubt that what they are sending me are genuine LV items unless I know for a fact that LV never made it. Giggetta, you are in LVck. The Damier Azur Neverfull is slated to be released before the year is out for the Cruise 2010 Collection. Do a search her in my blog and you will find a pic of it. Thanks for stopping by everyone!

  10. Ok I suppose I stand corrected. But I still doubt the fact that as youre looking at the picture, you can notice that the canvas seams on one of the graphite cases are NOT consistent and perfect.

I suppose its real if you say its real. We all LOVE authentic Louis Vuitton here!

I will remember to check out that Coteville in Rodeo one of these days! its like 20 minutes away from Hollywood.

  12. @ Lloyd, i agree with anonymous, its a President and not a Coteville. We got it in Louis Vuitton's store in Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. When we saw the President, we didn't think twice of buying it... It's worth it!!! LVoe it!!! Randy, United Arab Emirates....
