Vuitton Shelves Plan for Flagship Store in Japan

With the economic crisis in full swing, Louis Vuitton cancels their plan for a 12-floor, 130,000-sq.-ft. store off in Tokyo's Ginza district that would rival its Paris store in size. Set to be finished by 2010, the drop in sales of 7% from last year has caused LV to cut prices and stave off the new store...for now. Paris Flagship
