Louis Vuitton Monogram Mat Collection

This is what I LVoe, LVoe, LVoe about blogging. A couple of days ago, I posted an information request from an Anonymous reader about the Monogram Mat. I could only offer photos from Le Catalogue since I don't know much about this line. Today I received actual colour pics of not only the bags but small leather goods as well. Thanks to B. regs, we can better appreciate this discontinued collection in all its glory. LVoe it!!! Enjoy! Is this a Malden PM? An Anonymous poster just informed me that this is the Shelton. Tita Madonna au naturel

I just found this "pre-Photoshop" pic of Madge for the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2009-2010 ad campaign. Some people find it amusing how much the digital world can do and laugh at the au naturel photos. But for me, despite the signs of an aging icon, I still think she LVooks absolutely f*cking gorgeous. Pardon the French. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Monogram Mat Collection

I received this request from an old post, click here regarding the Monogram Mat ....I have this bag (stockton bleu) and i'm sad cause i feel that many people don't know about it even on the internet there is no information can you please give some (the collection of which year, the price, ...)!!! thank you. I can't say that I know much about this collection since it pre-dates my LVoe for LV but here are photos from the historical catalogue. I will only be featuring the bags but it also came out in small leather goods like wallets and agendas. I believe they were removed in circulation sometime around 2006. If LVoe Readers can contribute prices or any info, (ahem...Mr. Duck) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Anonymous for inquiring about this. I LVoe thumbing through the old catalogue. From Düsseldorf with LVoe

Joining fresh mess in the slowly growing club of the Keep It Bracelet, is Dennis from Germany. This time he is sporting the Damier Ebene with gold tone hardware. It fits perfectly with his Broadway and agenda. Thanks for sending it in, D. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Taiga Sasha

Joining the Men's Spring Summer 2010 Collection is the ultra-versatile Taiga Sasha. This bag is perfect for carrying the essentials either at work or play but mostly for the latter. Measuring 13" x 12", it doesn't fit much but the sleek, simple design well compensates. It will come in the colours (from the top) boreal, glacier and polaire and will approximately cost $1200. LVoe it!!!

Congratulations, Kris!!!

A big shout out to my darling niece for winning first place on their school's Illustrated Reading Contest. I'm so proud of you, Hija!!!

From Giona with LVoe

In line with the fabulous VIC items from the previous post today, Giona from the Netherlands also sent me a photo of the LV coasters that they gave him when he purchased his President Classeur. There are six of them in the set and the Vuitton flower is made out of broken eggshells. Amazing! Thanks for sending it in. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it, Gio!

Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Alma

Out of the snowglobe and into the arms of a Vuitton LVoer. On the Street....Via Pontaccio, Milano from the Sartorialist

From a VIC with LVoe

I am so jealous of these VIC items that J MR. has sent photos of. Every now and then I see the crystal trunk or letter opener on ebay but to see the other items is truly a delight. I especially LVoe the Alma in the snowglobe. Furthermore, how adorable is that hanger?! Thanks for sending them in, J. LVoe it!!!

Snowmageddon

Wow, we are really getting hit with a ton of snow! The Knickerbocker Storm of 1922 (named after a theatre that collapsed) was the biggest blizzard DC has ever seen and they are predicting that this will match that. Just went out for a quick walk with Piolo and here are a few photos. Me & my L'ingenieux . L'ingeniuex dans la niege. That's actually a car behind my Suhali. The snow is so thick that it could actually support my bag on top of some bushes. Snowflakes forming on the leather.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Idylle: The Elegie

Very much similar to the Mini Lin Angele Besace of last year, the Elegie is part of the Monogram Idylle Collection. There must be a subtle difference between the Mini Lin and Idylle for them to make a name change but who knows? I have yet to see this in real life to determine if there is. The shape though is quite practical and the double handles a nice feature. I'm just not too wild about the closure since the belt can prove to be quite cumbersome at times.

fresh mess and Louis

I was thumbing through my blog roll and discovered that fresh mess just bought himself this fabulous Damier Graphite bracelet. I LVoe it!!! Check out his post at freshmess.

Louis Vuitton Sac à Dos

Taiga has never been one of my favourite leathers but the upcoming Men's Spring Summer 2010 Collection is to die for. I have long believed that backpacks were meant to be used by 5th graders, but the current Sac à Dos is making me change that belief. Crafted out of rigid Taiga, it affords the piece a structured LVook that leases the classic shape a new life. Of course, an exotic version is highly favorable with the autruche in dove gray. I have played with the Alma Ostrich when I was out west and I will tell you that the combination of the skin and color is a match made only in LV heaven. Close to $5K for the Taiga and $25K for the autruche. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

From Brisbane with LVoe

Receiving photos from a fellow blogger is always a treat and Krizia from Australia has just given four of them.
