Happy Birthday, Giona!

Long time LVoe reader, Giona, will be celebrating his birthday this May 12th and so he acquired pre-bday loots from Louis Vuitton! He just came back from a short trip to the city Koblenz and Köln (Cologne) and took a snapshot of the shops there. Coming home to Amsterdam, a much needed birthday shopping spree produced tons of items including a special gift from his sales associate. Thanks for sending the photos in, G. LVoe it!!! From Giona with LVoe

This is a long overdue post for my friend Giona of the Netherlands. Here's what he wrote on July 8: Today was Vuitton-time. I went to Amsterdam without a planning or wishes. Yesterday I saw the Nomada zippy, unfortunately they told me the nomade collection is going to disappear. So I decided it had to be mom-time. I knew she's crazy about loafers, so it wasn't a hard time to pick the Oxford loafers in a dark tint. And because my dear mother doesn't even own a vuittonbag till this day, I decided it would be a fantastic present, certainly with the upcoming cruise we're going to make. I first hesitated between the Neverfull and Palermo, mainly because the Neverfull is - of course - perfect for things like cruises. But I realized I'd better get a "real", detailed and finished bag, and the Palermo is really perfect for my mother, of all the bags Vuitton has, this is the best for her! The little box contains a new sweet monogram bracelet, because the original began to unravel/fall apart. Have a nice day and greetings from the netherlands! He's such a sweet boy to his Mum! Plus excellent choices! I have seen the Palermo a couple of times in action and have always thought that it is such a stylish and practical tote. Thanks for sharing, G and sorry for the late posting. LVoe it!!!

Let's Hear It For The Boyz

Gosh, I have been featuring so much Men's stuff from Deluxe Duck (aka LV Guru) that I was inspired to do a feature on the Men who read the LVoe Blog. First off, we have Giona from the Netherlands. Always in style with his latest Louis acquisition, this boy is insatiable with all things Vuitton. To read more about Giona, click here. Up next is, is Hezly from Malaysia. He touched us with his story about his Mom receiving a Kalahari and we congratulated him for his first LV. This week, he's out shopping again for his Mom but this time for a Black Multicolore Judy. Thanks for sending the photo in, H. To read more about Hezly, click here. Now, this LVoe mail, I really enjoyed. It's from Leonard from Perth, Australia. I have never seen these before but apparently, they are packets given out by Louis Vuitton for Chinese New Year. Supposed to contain money, the envelope itself would be more than enough for me. I have the red one as my computer wall paper. Thanks for sending them in, Leonard. Last but not the least, is Alvin that Hails from Singapore. Fellow blogger and Louis Vuitton Lover, he recently acquired an amazing piece to complete his Stephen Sprouse Collection ---the Keepall in Silver Graffiti. I owe much to this boy for press photos and info so I'm happy to see when a new LV acquisition is featured in Bagaholicboy.com. To read more from Alvin, click here. Thanks, guys for all your support and sending in your photos. LVoe it!!!

Summertime with Giona

Giona is a dear blog friend of mine through our LVoe for Louis Vuitton. So, while he was on a cruise this summer touring Barcelona, Rome and Riccione, he took beautiful snapshots that he wanted to share with all of us. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your holidays, G. Now I want to go on a cruise as well! LVoe it!!!

From Giona with LVoe

In line with the fabulous VIC items from the previous post today, Giona from the Netherlands also sent me a photo of the LV coasters that they gave him when he purchased his President Classeur. There are six of them in the set and the Vuitton flower is made out of broken eggshells. Amazing! Thanks for sending it in. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it, Gio!

First LVook: Tie Case

I was looking at ties inspired by Giona's pics when I happened upon this interesting travel accessory, a Louis Vuitton Tie Case. Equipped to carry 5 ties, the idea is for the LV Man to have a holder for these easily wrinkled fashion necessities. Slim enough to slip into a carryall or suitcase, this is perfect for business travellers everywhere. Monogram version $630, Taiga $710. Visit www.louisvuitton.com.

From the Netherlands with LVoe

Speaking of Trunks, here's a pic of Giona sporting his prize Vuitton luggage pieces. We don't travel like our forefathers anymore so his Keepall and Sirius are current for our times. The Monogram scarf just adds that extra ummpphhh for this already handsome Dutchman. I am hazarding a guess that his Keepall is a 60 and the Sirius a 70. Correct me if I'm wrong, G or better yet, book a trans-Atlantic flight over so that we may better examine these wonderful pieces. Thanks for sharing! LVoe it! P.S. LVoe the artwork in the background!
