From Sara with LVoe

Dear Francis
Ever since January 2009 when I first saw the new vernis colours along with the new Stephen Sprouse collection in Tokyo, I have longed for a GM Alma in pink. And yesterday I walked in Louis Vuitton in Birmingham with no idea of what to buy (usually I plan my visits and telephone ahead to reserve something). So after 4 years wait I finally get a pink Alma with matching pomme bag charm. Isn't it beautiful. I wanted to share some pics of our first day together!

Louis Vuitton & the Chapman Brothers


Iakovos "Jake" Chapman and Konstantinos "Dinos" Chapman - these were names unknown to me until Kim Jones introduced the subversive British artists in his latest runway men's show for Louis Vuitton.  Known for their grotesque and vulgar art form, the collection was peppered with grinning cats and saber-toothed owls printed on bags, ties and scarves alongside brooches of the same.  They are really cute but my favourite still is the bear from their drawings from 2004 entitled My Giant Colouring Book.

Louis Vuitton Metis in Empreinte

The Louis Vuitton Metis is going to be released with an Empriente version sometime in March. Priced at $2890, it will come in Orient, Terre, Infini, Aurore, Aube and Celeste. Check out this photo from Nicola Burnage's Instagram.
