Rainy Day for my Beaubourg
After almost three years of my Beaubourg serving as my go-to bag, I finally allowed myself to deliberately walk in the rain with it. I used to excuse accidental rainfall but today, I decided to just stop fussing! It's very liberating...

Louis Vuitton Men's Spring Summer 2011 Catalogue
I can't wait for the Men's Spring Summer 2011 Catalogue to come trickling to my area. I have seen a store copy and William Snieg has done it again! This has got to be my favourite of his work yet. Louis Vuitton Monogram Guipure Carrousel
I've never really delved into the past Fall Winter pieces so I would like to feature the Carrousel Monogram Guipure which is part of Louis Vuitton's Les Extraordinaires Collection. "Guipure" in French means patterned lace and that what makes the body of this purse. It is then finished off with exotic matte alligator. As you can see, the amount of work and detail makes it indeed quite extraordinary. For a whopping $13,000, this piece must be special ordered and it comes with its very own number. I was inspired to do this post because Hydie sent me links featuring Leighton Meester as she was photographed carrying it while filming 'Gossip Girl' yesterday. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

LVook See: Scott Campbell for Louis Vuitton
Oooohhh...I thought I would never see these aside from the press photos. They are printed stoles on 100% cotton designed by Scott Campbell for Louis Vuitton. Based on Chinese astrological symbols, the celebrity ink artist has reinterpreted the iconic Monogram logos to create fanciful images for the Men's Spring Summer 2011 collection. Minh, a LVoe Reader sent them over when he visited the boutique today. I believe they are only available where Men's Ready-to-Wear are but maybe an excellent SA can pull strings to have one sent over to your local boutique. Louis Vuitton Vermont Avenue
A late release from last year, the Monogram Vernis Vermont Avenue is one of LV's day to evening bags. Tortoise acetate lock and strap accentuates this relatively small piece ( 8.6" x 6.7" x 2.4") which is priced at $2360. I wish they lined it with something more luxurious like suede or even the alcantara with that price point. So far, only released in Amarante. Available at www.louisvuitton.com.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Impression Sac Weekend
Ah...the Man Sac. What can I say? Sometimes you just need one to stuff it with "stuff" as you speed away for a weekend. It's too fabulous for the gym, so unless you tote everything on a daily basis for work, this would happily wait in your closet for your next getaway. First LVook: New for the Waterproof Collection
No information on this piece just yet. I will update as soon as I get some. It kinda LVooks like a Bellevue for Men. UPDATE: Well I called 1866-vuitton and so far no pricing yet. The tentative release date is May 2011 and the current name is simply Waterproof Messenger. LVoe it!!!

LVook See Thursday
Without anything better to do on a cold Thursday evening, Jerome and I decided to treck to our local LV boutique. Sadly, what used to be open late on a Thurs, was closed. I didn't even realize that they changed their hours. So, we opted for the crowded "Mall LV". As expected, the place was jammed packed with only two associates on hand. I felt bad for them so didn't want to be a burden just to LVook at what's out.
The first thing I saw was a hybrid Neverfull. I have never seen it before and wondered if it were a new style. It was only Jerome who pointed out that it was the Damier Rivington, with its zipper closed. The LVook totally transformed the bag and made it so much more interesting.
After which, I did get to play with the Idylle Fantaisie. Nothing special but perfect for a lazy summer outing. Below it was the Damier Azur Siracusa. Large and bright, this will surely be a hit once the weather starts warming up.
Lastly, as we were walking out, I feasted my eyes on the Monogram Estrela. I LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!! It is soooo Vuitton and a happy addition to the Monogram Collection. I'm sorry that I am not as thorough as my other LVook-Sees. I just felt bad for the sales associates.

Louis Vuitton Antique Dresser
One of my dreams is to own an antique piece from the House of Louis Vuitton. I just LVoe how they did things in the olden days. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing. Louis Vuitton Monogram Empire
Slowly trickling from Paris is the Monogram Empire Collection. Consisting of the Ponant (above) and Levant (below), these exquisitely fine shoulder bags are crafted with jacquard fabric and suede. But what makes the Empire special and expensive are the exotic python trims. I personally LVoe the brushed hardware detail that I believe is new for Vuitton. Colours will be violet and marron. I wish they made the green one as seen on the runway. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Elvis / Mick
I received a few inquiries about what is Godfrey Gao carrying in his current LV ad. Well gentlemen, it is the Damier Graphite Elvis.
Soon to be released, the relatively inexpensive messenger ($1210 GM, $1100 MM) has a zippered top and a front accent zippered compartment. I wonder how easy is it to get in and out of. Fingers crossed for March. LVoe it!!!
By the way, I've seen the Men's SS 2011 Catalogue and William Snieg's work with Godfrey is amazing. Sadly, LV has not sent them out yet and I am eagerly waiting for my copy.
