From Glendale with LVoe

Richard from California writes: I wanted to share with you a bag ( Monogram Vertical Document Bequia Bordeaux) that I first saw and tried on in Sept. 2007, but felt at that time it wasn't for me. So, I had bought another bag. As time past, I realized that was the bag I'd needed to complete my brown bag collection. So I looked for 2 years and found it for a great price. I attached the astropill and alzer key holder to compliment this great bag! This is probably one of my favourite Fall Winter Collections. I think I'm going to use my Mirage tomorrow. Thanks for the photo, R. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Rebonds

After I purchased the Louis Vuitton Art, Fashion and Architecture, I was inspired to LVook for a book that I never thought I would find. Printed a decade ago, a quick search online revealed that a pristine copy was available in Brooklyn, New York City. The Louis Vuitton Rebonds is a photographic essay of celebrities, writers, artists, politicians and other notable figures. It is an amusing game that Louis Vuitton proposed by allowing these personalities to show who they were with the Monogram Canvas Soccer Ball. The goal of which was not to win a game but to benefit the world's underprivileged children through UNICEF. Here are some of my most favourite photos lifted from the book. LVoe it!!! Brooke Shields Gerard Depardieu Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow Harrison Ford Kate Moss Sharon Stone Thalia

Theatre Wednesday

Jeff took me to a show tonite in our local theatre: First You Dream The Music of Kander and Ebb. I have never really been in this part of our community so it was a welcome surprise since the night was absolutely gorgeous for being outside and the music was amazing. I took a photo of my Watercolor Speedy Frame as he was sitting beside an ornately decorated fountain. To learn more about the show, click here.

The Excitement is Building

Jeff and I went out for pizza tonite and we decided to pass by the mall for a quick run through. As we were leaving, I saw this posted at our local Bloomies. LVoe it...it will be our 6th store in the Greater Washington Area though I heard rumours that one might be closing...yikes!

LVook what came in the mail today!

As part of Fashion's Night Out last Thursday, the Louis Vuitton boutique in 5th Avenue released the much awaited book entitled: Louis Vuitton Art, Fashion and Architecture. (Two weeks ahead of the other stores) It was through the kindess of S from the Maison that I got my copy only days after it was released. Unfortunately, the Damier plexiglass sleeve cracked on the way here so I am still waiting for the replacement copy. Thank you very much, S & R. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Labels Collection

One of the reasons that I fell In LVoe with Louis Vuitton is the rich history behind the company. I LVoe things that have a story particularly from the past. Apparently, these lables were collected by Louis' grandson, Gaston-Louis. So, is it any wonder then that the Labels Collection would catch my undivided LVoe and attention? Comprised mostly of affordable little knick knacks, they are embellished with old world images of luggage stickers. I know that these tend to clutter one's bag, but surely such delightful pieces are well worth it. Hmmm...I noticed that save for the key rings, most of them have no vache in them...I wonder how it LVooks like in person. Visit www.louisvuitton.com. Key Pouch Complece $255 Key Pouch $270 Key Rings $200 Key Holder $200 Pochette Accesoires $290 Key Pouch NM $250 Small Ring Agenda $355 Pochette Milla $500 (available in ebene)

Louis Vuitton "Commerical" Bunny Ears

I have not hidden the fact from y'all that I am so in LVoe with the Bunny Ears from this season's runway collection. Unfortunately, they only produced this paltry version of it that really disappointed me. Here's Rosie Huntington-Whitley wearing her favourite Fashion's Night Out (London) purchase so that you can better visualize what I am talking about. Sigh... Photo: The Vogue Blog
