I am a little worried...

Well, I am off today for a business trip that will last the whole week. So that means that I would be missing the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2010 Fashion Show. But not to worry, I have commissioned my partner Jeff to update my blog on Wednesday, October 7 . This will be the first time that he will have full access to my account and I wouldn't do it if I had any other choice. I made him swear though not to read beyond what is necessary. (I am afraid he will know the full extent of my purchases). Hehehehehe. So on Wednesday, when Mr. Marc Jacobs enthralls us with his latest collection for the next season, hopefully, Jeff would be able to post the pics for you all. Louis Vuitton Sac Crochet PM White Lizard

My greatest weakness is a rare Louis Vuitton so when I saw this Sac Crochet PM with calf and LIZARD trim, I was enthralled. I called 1-866 and apparently this was from the Spring Summer 2005 Collection. The last price before it was discontinued was $7100. The seller claims it is authentic and was made for the runway. The level of craftsmanship is quite convincing as well as the presence of the appropriate tags. The bag as the name implies is crafted out of textile with the monograms raised, a very unique way of interpreting it. To merit the name crochet, the use of a hook is necessary so this must've been entirely handmade. Of course, the current-resale-$3K-price tag is a bit steep but it's exciting to see pieces that I am not familiar with. I am in no way connected to the seller but for the listing click here. Writing the glories of the Speedy Eclipse is not at all exciting unless it becomes personal. The closest I will get to it is living vicariously through Priyanka who sent me this foto while she was partying at Zeta Bar in Sydney. Your Eclipse truly deserves a toast, P. Anna dello Russo and her Fall Winter LV Pieces

I did not know who Anna della Russo was until she was photographed carrying Louis Vuitton's Speedy Eclipse and Double Jeu Neo Alma. I saw the two pieces last night at my local boutique and I was sorely tempted. I had to reign in my desire knowing full well that October 7th would bring fresh, new interest from the Spring Summer 2010 Collection. Sigh...they are so pretty. LVoe it!!!

I do prefer the black pailletes over the gold. It has this dark ethereal LVook to it that the gold cannot capture.

The Double Jeu's materials are simply astounding. As from the trunk show, my impression still holds about the quality of the leather. It's truly worth the premium price tag.
