Punctuated with black trim, my favourite feature is the clochette insert. The BB size is becoming more popular with the success of the Alma BBs which I have yet to see one being carried in the wild. The Lockit BB Obsession is slated to be released in August with an estimated release price of $2700. LVoe it!

Singapore will welcome a new luxury shopping destination and retail icon
when Louis Vuitton opens its first Island Maison at the Marina Bay Sands in September of this year. The
Maison will sit on the waterfront of the Marina Bay promenade and will be a distinctive landmark in the
celebrated landscape around the bay.
The Louis Vuitton Island Maison is a one of a kind concept for the luxury brand, and will feature nauticalinspired
interiors exclusively designed by internationally acclaimed and award winning architect Peter
Marino. Visitors can look forward to a unique and sophisticated retail experience as the first Louis Vuitton
Maison in Southeast Asia will incorporate art and cultural elements in its retail space.
The ground floor of the Island Maison will feature the complete selection of men’s and women’s leather
goods, ready to wear, shoes and accessories. Keeping close to the brand’s DNA where the desire is to
transform every journey into a refined and personal experience, the mezzanine level will celebrate the
romance of travel by dedicating an area to travel luggage and accessories in the first Travel Room in
Asia Pacific. There will also be a private lounge for intimate presentations as well as an outdoor loggia
reminiscent of a deck on a luxury yacht.
From the island, visitors can travel through a tunnel that will showcase pieces of contemporary artwork.

Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2011 2012 Monogram Desire Lockit
Two of the stars of this year's Runway Collection is the Monogram Desire Lockits, MM and GM. Crafted out of a nylon jacquard blend, these draw its inspiration from the uniform-esque ready to wear that it complements. The pull tab and handles are made out of resin. Available in Noir and Bleu, the MM will be around the $2400 range and the GM at $3150.
The neat feature about the Grande Modele is that you can fold it over for a different way of carrying it.

Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign
I still can't get over the fact that Louis Vuitton used Japanese Chins in their current ad campaigns. There was a period in my life that we had 17 dogs at one time and they ranged from the exotic to the common mongrel and I LVoe them all equally. Now that I am down to one, our darling Piolo, he is every bit as special as any of those photographed. So here he is posing with my Cabas Beaubourg. By the way, the bag that Anaïs is carrying is the Monogram Fascination Lockit in Moutarde. 
Louis Vuitton Montgolfière Bag Charm
Whimsy is what keeps me sane so it is my delight that I feature this travel-inspired bag charm. I'm sure it will be a pricey piece but you can see why. The attention to detail from the trunk's hardware to the little tag dangling near the clasp. Named Montgolfière and priced at GB425 (thanks, Sarah), it's an exceptional collectible for the true LVoer.

Louis Vuitton Cabas Mezzo
Well, it's official! The Cabas Mezzo or at least a version of it is slated to be released by the end of August, early September. This is in response supposedly due to the overwhelming demand after Angelina Jolie's ad hit the new stands. The last price point for the Mezzo before it was discontinued was $1440. Now, the "new" version's price is yet to be released so let's hope that its around that ball park. Take note that the above photo is from the days of eluxury. LVoe it!!!

New Monogram Vernis Colour
Slated to be released this August, the Monogram Vernis Collection is acquiring yet another colour to the line-up called Givre. Meaning "frost" in French, it adds a certain freshness to the upcoming winter months. Hmmm...bit of a tongue-twister. Anyways, it will be available in a variety of other bags and small leather goods. I dunno about you guys but I think it's also a perfect colour for the spring. LVoe it!
Cabas Mezzo to be re-released?
This is how I remember Angelina with her LV --- pregnant. There are rumors circulating that the Cabas Mezzo is going to be re-released for a limited run due to the influx of requests after the Core Value Ads came out. Now, I think the one in the ad is actually the Cabas Alto, a much bigger version but the Mezzo was the more popular one. So let's wait and see if LV will really answer the demands of the people.
Louis Vuitton Monogram Blocks Zipped Tote
Part of the Pre-Fall Collection, the Monogram Blocks Zipped Tote is an amalgamation of Monogram canvas, embossed smooth goat leather and heavy-grained calf leather with the colour blocking continuing on the inside. It measures 11" x 18.7" x 6.7" that boasts it can fit an iPad and comes in Bordeaux and Marine. I'm not so wild about the design and materials that were used on this bag but I do LVoe the two-tone clochette. Also, take note that the Monogram flowers are perfectly aligned as it goes from one "skin" to the next. Priced at $3800.

Louis Vuitton Baltic Ankle Boot
I was never one to wear boots in the middle of summer much more suede shoes. So the the Ankle Boot in Calf Skin Suede was a bit of a surprise to me since it's considered a Summer 2011 Men's collection. Asymmetrically designed, Blake stitching is the LVook that sets these boots apart. Available in Carbone (Grey) and Blanc (as shown), they are $900 a pair at www.louisvuitton.com.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Clutch Historique
I've been posting so much about the Women's stuff that I've practically forgotten about the fabulous pieces that are slated to be released for the Boyz. Let's begin with the Clutch Historique. Crafted out of Monogram Canvas, the man bag is decorated with a huge brass mechanism; drawing its inspiration from Vuitton's antique trunks of the past. Sadly, this still VERY European arm candy still has yet to cross over to the US. I still see a lot of men with backpacks and gym bags in conservative Washington, but the occasional trendy tote or messenger sling pops out every now and then. So things are slowly changing. Hmmm...I would do away with the Historique's wrist band though. It just gets in the way and it makes it simpler. LVoe it!!!

Before we delve further into what's coming for the cold months, I wanted to feature a perfect summer bag called the Daily. Crafted out of the new Monogram Denim, this will surely win the hearts of those that miss this line. Ample space with outside pockets for the bigger version, the adjustable vache leather straps make it the perfect lazy day bag, plus they are lined in microfibre.
What I LVoe about these are the brass engraved press buttons that have the vintage signature on them. Furthermore, they are then sewn onto the fabric with circular vache tabs. Details, details, details! They come in three colours: Gris Bleu (below) & Bleu Clair (above) for the GM and Noir (black) for the PM. Ailleurs et Amalfitana
It was such a glorious summer day today so my friends and I decided to meet for brunch and some flea market browsing. I was happy to see that Angel decided to bring her Ailleurs because I have not played with it fully ever since she got it. As for me, my trustee ol' Amalfitana was my bag of choice for hands free shopping. Nothing caught my eye but Wilfredo and Reid snagged a pair of brass Moroccan candlesticks for their home. I hope your Saturday was as fun as ours.
Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2011 2012: Monogram Fetish Lockit BB
Well, the "Fetishes" are soon coming our way to titillate our senses for the fall winter months. I want to start off with the Monogram Fetish Lockit BB. Small in stature, I believe it is a statement piece that goes a long way from day to evening. I LVoe how the lock is enveloped in Monogram canvas and that it is a footed bag. I can't quite figure out what material the clochette and zipper pull is made of so I'm really LVooking forward to seeing them in real life. For now, no price point or release date. I'll keep y'all posted for more of the FW pieces. LVoe it!!!

Summer 2011 Windows
In the grand tradition of Louis Vuitton Lover, I present the summer windows! I really enjoy it when I can bring the LV Boutique windows to my readers especially to those who do not have a local store near them. This summer, they are decked with miniature modes of luxury transport that are tugging and pulling on Vuitton pieces. They are quite adorable and I applaud the men and women behind these whimsical eye catchers. LVoe it!!!
