What I have missed: The Monogram Stresa
Release five days ago, the Monogram Stresa is the latest addition to the Monogram Core Collection. Named after a resort town in Northern Italy, the city bag comes in two sizes: PM ($1360) and GM ($1520). The size is pretty much like the Montorgueil so it would be a perfect shoulder bag for ladies (and gents) on the move. The Damier Azur version is slated to be released this November. Ahhhh, e-mails like these makes my day:
I was telling you about my Mon Speedy last year in August. I stumbled upon this photo of my Monogram collection and I thought of you. The red stripe on the speedy matches the original red Insolite that was released.
Regards, Maria

Just a little purchase
I have been so busy with work and family that I forgot to post this latest lil' purchase that I made for October ~ a vintage Louis Vuitton lock with combination. I had to debate on this acquisition because it was a tad bit pricey and I was not sure of its authenticity. Eventually, my desire to have a vintage piece overrode my hesitations and now the lock dangles comfortably with my Mini Lin. As for the question of it being genuine, the level of crafstmanship is a testament that it is indeed LV. Question: Should I buff it or keep the well worn patina? LVoe it!!! October 13, 2009 063
Louis Vuitton Cruise 2010: Monogram Velours Lurex
Velours ~ a favourite material of mine that LV has used before, I am excited to see that the Cruise 2010 will have one. But this time, lurex was added to the mix to give the pochette a bit of glimmer and shine. The rivets are so classic Louis Vuitton. Out by November.

LVoe Time with the Family
Thank you for all the e-mails that I received inquiring about my whereabouts and what happened to my frozen blog. The amount of concern was truly heartwarming. I didn't mean to scare anyone but my niece and my brother were visiting from the Philippines so my whole week was spent with them. As some of you might know, a nine-year-old can be quite a handful. So for now, as I have yet to enter once again the realm of Louis Vuitton to update myself and all of you, my LVoe readers, I leave you with some fabulous photos in and around DC from my brother, Lindy.

Wake up to Louis Vuitton: Travel Alarm Clock
Waking up in a strange hotel without your creature comforts is hard. I experienced that last week when I was away on business. So when Geo sent in this photo of Louis Vuitton's answer to the travelling clock, I was thrilled. Designed akin to their Tambour Collection, this mundane piece of machinery is 1500 euros (roughly $2200)! Wow, that's pretty pricey for an alarm clock. LVoe it though!

Shopping hauls from Paris always thrills me but a honeymoon haul is doubly special. Jessica from Down Under was married on September 5 this year and she and her hubby flew to the City of Lights to celebrate the happy union. No trip to Paris would be complete without passing through the doors of the Maison and I must say that her choices were fantastic to say in the least. I LVoe most especially her Mechanic Pearl Bracelet. Here is J's final note in her e-mail: "I will have to email you a picture of our wedding album when it's finished... we have ordered an Azur Cotteville for the case and our photographer is customising an interior so the album can be featured. I hope it will all turn out! " Thanks, Jessica for sharing your wonderful pics. I can't wait to see your wedding album LVoe it!!!
This photo is of the glass ceiling of the Champs-Elysees store. I didn't even bother LVooking up when I was there so special thanks for this pic.

LoVe is LoVe
This Sunday, thousands of Gay Rights activists and their supporters took to the streets of Washington, D.C. for a march and rally that began at the White House leading all the way up to the Capitol. Our one cry: "Equal Rights and we want it NOW!" Being directly affected by laws that prevent me and Jeff from enjoying the benefits of a married couple, we made it a point to be there today. Jerome and I at the beginning of the march.

This was actually a rainbow that formed despite the lack of rain...must be a sign!
We were walking alongside Scottish actor Alan Cumming (black t-shirt).

It's always a delight to see the Philippine Flag.
