UK Trip 2008
Well, I'm off to the British Isles! The land of fish and chips, Harry Potter and my favorite author, Jane Austen. I may not be able to blog whilst I'm there, so pardon my silence. LVoe it!
Blast from the Past
Just surfing the net for an ideal camera case for my trip and found these old runway pics from 2002. The Monogram Mesh, seasonal/runaway pieces that doesn't hold a ton but does have a lot of style. I've seen a couple come up at auction and they seem to be pretty interesting. (Much has to be said for slinky purses) Now, if only I had a time machine! Photos: tPF PS. Oh my gosh, I did more digging up on this bag and apparently the name of it is 'Frances'! This probably is going to be my Holy Grail of purses!

A Big Shout Out...!
...to the Fabulous Boyz (& Filipina) of Maison 5th Avenue. I had the best time today when on a whim, I decided to drive to New York City to visit the 5th Avenue store. Much to my surprise, I was recognized by an SA on the floor as louisvuittonlover. He then proceeded to introduce me to his fellow associates, who apparently have also read my blog. I was so embarrassed but thrilled and I got to see the "VIP" room. By no means was I a VIP, but they sure made me feel like it when I was there. What did I do in the room? Well, you'll have to find out when it arrives tentatively on July 19. Thanks, guys! I am amazed that there are no people in this snapshot. That intersection is beaucoup busy!!!

Step into the Showroom
Coinciding with the 61st Cannes Film Festival, Vuitton has opened their own showroom at the Hotel Martinez from May 14-25. Featuring the latest ready-to-wear, jewellery, accesories, shoes and of course...leather goods. A mélange that any LVoer would die for! Sigh...I wish I were an International star.
Visit www.louisvuitton.com.
The Motard Biker
Jerome and I had the opportunity to waitlist (ah...este) play with this $13,000-bag last night. The Motard Biker weighs a ton,
but the new color combination of exotic moss green and gray
is truly a sight to behold.
The bag is divided into three compartments, having a middle "framed" section. It is made of luxurious calf leather with the monogram flowers intricately stitched onto it. The attention to detail can be seen through the use of high quality, gleeming hardware. All in all, I LVoe this bag. It comes with a slightly "cheaper" pochette with removable strap that could function as a belt for the bargain price of $7K. Visit your local boutique to view this baby.

Blast from the Past
Jerome found this pic on the pages of an old 2007 Details mag from the gym. Needless to say, his eyes grew to the size of saucers. Can you blame him?! The pure whiteness of the Bequiasque porte document is simply to die for! Unfortunately, this ad was produced a tad bit ahead of my obsession with Vuitton. So, if anyone could give the name and what line this bag is from (I am guessing Bequia), it would highly be appreciated. Thanks, LVoe it!
Gossip Girl Season Finale
Gossip Girl's Season Finale last nite was filled with LV! Aside from the photos here, I believe Lily (Serena's mom) was carrying a white Epi Jasmine. Also, if you search my blog for GG, you'll find Blair's Epi Cannes. A friend of mine from the Philippines sent this entourage pic of what appears to be Vuitton luggage. The top photo with Serena is from freshmess (tpf). Thanks, Alfred! XOXO ~ LVLuvr For the show's official site, click here.

Thunder
I never did really see much of this bag, but browsing through vuitton.com, I realized how interesting this piece really was. I guess it didn't really become a hit. For one, the shearling confines it to the fall/winter season. I LVoe the vinyl material though, and wished they combined it with other accents. They're still available for purchase if you want to check it out. Visit www.louisvuitton.com.

Two for the Road
I guess some of you were wondering about why I posted a pic of Scarlett Johannson as The Girl With The Pearl Earring. Not only is it one of my favorite films, but I have decided to exchange my Epi Alma (due to quality issues) with the bag that Marc Jacobs has named in homage of Scarlett's character in the movie, Griet. I was meaning to surprise you all with my new purchase only to be surprised myself by a dear friend who went literally Mancrazy. Check out the photo. LVoe it!!!

Christina Ricci
I saw this slightly eerie but LVoely snapshot of Christina Ricci with her Gracie in Monogram Velours. Even to this day, I am still groping my way through all of LV's collection. I have a lot of catching up to do. So, what better way to accomplish that, than to revisit past celebrity pics? There are tons of them out there waiting to be unearthed. Join me in memory lane as we travel back in time to view Old Celebrity Photos and their LV's. Photo: luvpurses24 (tPF)

I got to wear this ring today
I went to Chevy Chase today and spent some quality time with my LVoely SA. They have the Pharrell Williams Jewellery on display as a "trunk" presentation and I was informed that only 9 or so boutiques in the US will carry the line as part of their permanent collection. The pieces were designed by the mogul producer himself in collaboration with Camille Miceli. It focuses on four themes in "which the rhythm and energy of the new continent harmonize with the spirit of continental Europe." The Blason ring is big and clunky and could very well kill a person if used properly. The neat thing about it is, that the middle portion could be flipped to either showcase mega-diamond bling or Vuitton's coat-of-arms. Other pieces from the Crown, Gracious Graphic and Rock on Cherub collection were also on display. But the pièce de résistance of them all is the Blason belt buckle (see banner) studded with diamonds, sapphires, rubies and tsavorits totalling 523 gems in all. It is truly a sight to behold. The price tag -- $59,000! Visit www.louisvuitton.com for more info.
P.S Oh, by the way, this came home with me.

Blast from the Past
I used my Mini Lin today and I realized how much I LVoe it. The material is simply gorgeous even with age. I wish LV would expand this collection. I found this travel bag online from around 2005 and I could just imagine my initials boldly emblazoned in red. I did see one that was similar from my Dallas trip and wished that I purchased it. Sigh...Marc... Bag: Initiales Mini Lin Keepall
