Just a little purchase
I have been so busy with work and family that I forgot to post this latest lil' purchase that I made for October ~ a vintage Louis Vuitton lock with combination. I had to debate on this acquisition because it was a tad bit pricey and I was not sure of its authenticity. Eventually, my desire to have a vintage piece overrode my hesitations and now the lock dangles comfortably with my Mini Lin. As for the question of it being genuine, the level of crafstmanship is a testament that it is indeed LV. Question: Should I buff it or keep the well worn patina? LVoe it!!! October 13, 2009 063

ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks Anonymous. I missed blogging too. Now, I have to catch up!
ReplyDeleteI'd have it buffed and see how it looks. if it'd be funny-loonking don't worry cause it'll gain patina in a couple of months (I should know, I played brass instruments and had them buffed regulalrly ;-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, I do think it's orignal, OR the best copy in the world (whichI doubt)
