Louis Vuitton Indra Sac 48 Heures

Named after the King of the demi-gods of Hindu lore, Indra is Louis Vuitton's latest addition to it's masculine leather lines. Crafted out of calfskin and embossed to mimic elephant hide, this lush new "cuir" is tickling my fancy. Slated to be released this Fall 2011. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Damier Infini Collection

I know this is strictly a Men's Collection but the Damier Infini in Fusion (Red) is to die for and I'm sure there are some confident ladies out there who can pull it off. Featured here are the Porte-Documents Voyage (priced at $2420) and the James wallet (priced at $600). The embossed calf leather is the latest addition from the men's runway; I wonder if its successful enough to become a permanent collection.

Louis Vuitton Damier Porte clés Dragonne

Every man needs a stylish Key Fob so the Vuitton interpretation with two of its masculine pattern, Ebène and Graphite is a most welcome addition to the Men's Accessories. Slated to be released either August or September, these would be perfect stocking stuffers for the Holidays. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Monogram Clutch Historique

I've been posting so much about the Women's stuff that I've practically forgotten about the fabulous pieces that are slated to be released for the Boyz. Let's begin with the Clutch Historique. Crafted out of Monogram Canvas, the man bag is decorated with a huge brass mechanism; drawing its inspiration from Vuitton's antique trunks of the past. Sadly, this still VERY European arm candy still has yet to cross over to the US. I still see a lot of men with backpacks and gym bags in conservative Washington, but the occasional trendy tote or messenger sling pops out every now and then. So things are slowly changing. Hmmm...I would do away with the Historique's wrist band though. It just gets in the way and it makes it simpler. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2011 2012: THE BAGS

Judging from Louis Vuitton's Fall Winter Men's Runway Show, the MAN CLUTCH is back! I remember my Papa carrying one of those when I was growing up. They are nice and all but you can't really carry a lot in them. As you scroll down the briefcases and travel bags, nothing seems remarkable until you are arrested by the bum bag. Cutesy but I could imagine myself wearing one. One thing I find interesting and would LVoe to see in real life are the ginormous hardware. They truly make the piece. The skins used are amazing especially the distressed LVook on the briefcases and luggages. Also, the Nomade-like leather on the clutches especially the creme folio is a must see. The white and red Damier embossed are definitely show stoppers. Lastly the lone Monogram Canvas clutch was either an after-thought or an obligatory "affordable" version. All in all it's a fantastic collection of arm candies from Paul Helbers. LVoe it!!! Photos from style.com Photos from style.com
