LOUIS VUITTON 2016 Bags

Of all the bags that I have seen for Spring Summer 2016, this little number has caught my attention. It reminds me of building blocks that I played with when I was a child. Definitely a collector's piece so I will have to check it out if it does go into production.

Louis Vuitton SC Bag Limited Edition for Bon Marché

EEEKKKKK!!!  I am such a sucker for contrast piping and this limited edition SC Bag is practically killing me. Designed exclusively by Sofia for her favored Parisian department store,  Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, I have always LVoed her timeless interpretation of the Speedy. To top it all off, the press photos feature hydrangeas, flowers that I have come to LVoe ever since I moved to the US.

Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2013 2014: Monogram Chain

Oooohhh... I LVoe it!!! Heading up this Fall Winter Collection are Iconic pieces with a bit of a twist. The Speedy (in size 20cm to boot) and Lockit have both acquired chains drawing inspiration from the runway's fifties LVook.  Wait till you see the rest of the collection.

Louis Vuitton W Bag Collection

Everybody needs a great tote and I am excited about the Louis Vuitton W Collection that is slated to be released this July 2013. With its sleek lines crafted out of materials that LV is known for, I am enjoying the subtle V shape that the handles form as it is stitched to the body of the bag. Also, the photos show a shoulder strap attachment ring, something that I didn't notice from the modeling shots.  Another bag to add to the watch list but so far I am in LVoe with the Monogram Canvas one in black colourway.

Louis Vuitton Parnasséa Collection

OMG, leathers that Hermès is famous for is now being used in the Louis Vuitton Parnasséa Collection. Box and Taurillon are skins that have long been coveted by bag aficionados.  Chosen for their suppleness and interesting grain, the Icons: Alma and SC Bag and the new designs: Capucines and Vivienne excite me as I review these photos. 

My favourite thus far is the Capucines.  I LVoe the placement of the initials. Now, the only issue is the price point of these beauties.  Slated to be released this July 2013, I can't wait to see them in real life.

Louis Vuitton Noé makes a comeback!

I think my title is a bit misleading for the Noé never truly disappeared.  Since its creation by Gaston-Louis Vuitton as a special order for a champagne connoisseur in 1932, the drawstring bag has lived on deep within the heart of LV's core collection. 

For this season, Louis Vuitton in line with MJ's obsession with diminutive bags is releasing the Noé in BB form to join its bigger cousins, the Noé and Petit Noé.  Coming in a variety of colours, it will surely be hard to choose the perfect one. Enjoy the photos!
