Louis Vuitton Architecture and Interiors Book

OOOOOOHHHHHH...a new book is coming out!!! Slated to be released early October, the book features Louis Vuitton stores worldwide which I know have become landmarks in themselves. There's a bookstore edition for $85, but for a few bucks more, you can acquire the limited editions ones from boutiques for $130. LVoe it!!!

As I was reminiscing about the Irène, a question was posted with regards to the small bag in the Rihanna pictures. I didn't even noticed it but it in the last photo, the R&B artist was being shown the Monogram Vernis Mirada, one of the new releases this Fall Winter season. The website states: With soft rounded curves and vintage-inspired details, the Mirada is the epitome of retro chic. Louis Vuitton Damier Infini Collection

I know this is strictly a Men's Collection but the Damier Infini in Fusion (Red) is to die for and I'm sure there are some confident ladies out there who can pull it off. Featured here are the Porte-Documents Voyage (priced at $2420) and the James wallet (priced at $600). The embossed calf leather is the latest addition from the men's runway; I wonder if its successful enough to become a permanent collection.

Yours until they make an Ambre Multicolore Papillon 55. :-D -Mike in Florida Presenting the Monogram Rayures Collection! A small seasonal collection of 5 city bags and a wallet, namely the Nevefull, Noe, Petit Noe and Insolite. They are scheduled to be released on the November 15 of this year in time for the Holidays. Estimated prices are Neverfull MM $1190, GM $1260 and get this, XL!!!! at $1650. The Noe is at $1700 and the Petit Noe at $1350. Lastly, the Insolite is at $760. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Rumor Flat Loafer in Metallic Python

Wow, Sara just brought my attention to this fabulous women's shoe. Crafted out of python skin that is finished in metallic gold, it is then painstakingly hand-painted to create an iridescent effect. I just LVoe, the Vuitton flower detail. The vamp is also hand stitched which makes this piece of footwear a bit pricey for around $US1600. Sara, I guess you're in big trouble now.

Louis Vuitton Luggage Tag

Speaking (or blogging about sweet SAs)...I picked up my luggage tag today that I had embossed with my initials. My SA had to recruit one of her colleagues to perform the deed since she says she does not trust herself to do it. Before they actually embossed it onto my tag, they practiced first on a piece of vache and texted a photo of it to me to inquire if the spacing was to my liking. I was so surprised to see the swatch that I asked if they could give that to me also. She texted me a laugh followed by a 'yes'. I became more excited about that instead of my actual luggage tag. It's the first time that I have seen and touched vache "in the raw" and it smells heavenly. Imagine taking a whiff of freshly churned cream with a hint of vanilla. That's how special LV leather is!!! Thanks M & S for the experience that that small piece of leather gave this ol' Louis Vuitton Lover. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!

My darling Sales Associate informed me today that the Epi Collection will have 12-15 NEW colours that are slated to be released at the same time for January 2012. Oy, that's a myriad of colours to choose from! I wonder what they will be. Have you guys heard anything?

Louis Vuitton Lockit Pulsion

The Lockit Pulsion - what can I say? Crafted out of shearling from handle to base, this fuzzy bag can truly only work for the cold weather months. Unless you're the type that sleeps with your LV's, this is quite an expensive stuffed toy at $3450 a pop! The colour of the one photographed is the Gris but it also comes in Caramel and Marine.

Louis Vuitton Ostrich Windows

The Louis Vuitton Ostriches have finally arrived in my local store. This time, not a whole bird is featured unlike that of New York but it appears that the bags have grown Struthio legs. I should have taken a photo of the whole window so you could've seen the full effect of the pair that were about to drop from the ceiling. It's pretty funny. The "Eggs" window looks like a huge incubator where Vuitton SLG's are hatching before your eyes. It's really a clever way of showcasing the collections and definitely would stop you in your tracks to take a second LVook!
