Ruby Jean Wilson is going to be the face of Louis Vuitton for the coming Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign. Wilson landed both the opening and closing looks in Marc Jacobs's
spring show and a spot opening the
Louis Vuitton catwalk. "She's the girl we chose", Jacobs told WWD. Shot by Juergen Teller, I can't wait to see what Marc has in store for us!

Louis Vuitton Petit Noe NM
What was meant to hold champagne bottles has lasted through the decades as one of Vuitton's most iconic bags. Currently it is being released in tricolour Epi and coined as Petit Noe NM. I know that LV used to have them back in the 80's or early 90's but the fresh colours of Figue and Menthe (with their corresponding combinations) are welcome additions to this versatile and hard wearing leather. $1560 at www.louisvuitton.com

Louis Vuitton Cruise 2013: Déesse
Déesse which translates to goddess is a retro shape that Vuitton is releasing for Cruise 2013 with a variety of colours in exotic skins. It is a welcome change to mushy, gigantic bags. Sometimes we all need just a simple, structured (yet sophisticated) shape to complete the LVook!

Hmmm...I wonder what happened to the clasp as shown in the trunk show. I guess it's still there as seen on the "more views" of the website, but why wouldn't they show it on the main picture?

Louis Vuitton Lockit Transparent
When the Monogram Transperance came out for Spring Summer 2012, I wasn't too wild about it. It was very pretty with the white carousel in the background but its use were limited due to its colour. But now, Louis Vuitton has released another Lockit Transparent but this time in line with Winter. I believe black gave it a totally new LVook that would go well with everything. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Stationery Boutique
In an age where we are used to communicating electronically, Louis Vuitton has decided to open a store dedicated to the art of writing...
This Thursday, LV will open a temporary exhibition space at 170 Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. Come December, at the corner of 6 Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés a boutique is to open housing pens, other writing paraphernalia and the brand’s first foray into stationery! I can't wait to see the first examples of this new addition to Vuitton's array of luxury items.

Fall is here!
Ever so often, there comes an LV bag which to me completely embodies the season that I am in. The Huron Satchel is one such bag. With it's dark browns and chocolate hues, it's simply perfect for autumn. Long discontinued, I couldn't pass up the opportunity when a pristine example showed up. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!!
Louis Vuitton Cruise 2013: Alma BB
I LVoe, LVoe, LVoe all these incarnations of the Alma BB. To be released for Cruise 2013 in a variety of colours and skins, a few of them are definitely on my wish list.

Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Portobello
I always associate portobello with paninis on a nice cold day. So, I was happy to see that Vuitton has released a practical city bag as part of its Damier Core Collection. The Portobello comes in PM and GM and is crafted out of "extra-supple" Damier canvas. I have not seen it in real life so maybe that means that the canvas is a bit thinner than usual and therefore more pliable. What I LVoe about this piece are the engraved brass hooks that attach the handles to the body as well as the dark brown microfibre lining. Visit www.louisvuitton.com.

Louis Vuitton Celebrates the Stephen Sprouse Leopard
It has been six years already since Marc Jacobs unveiled to the world the Stephen Sprouse leopard print range as part of Louis Vuitton's staple and the fans have not stopped adoring it since. In celebration of this very successful (and lucrative) collection, LV has commissioned director Anne Fontaine to create a short film highlighting its beginnings through its current incarnation. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Bed and Rocking Horse
These are the latest artistic collaborations from Louis Vuitton. Created by Scandinavian artists Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, a four-poster bed with a golden vulture perched high on top of one of its posts, greets you at their New Bond Street store. What's more amazing is that staff are invited to sleep during working hours! I guess nobody gets fired for sleeping on the job at LV.
The rocking horse sculpture is currently in place on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. LVoe it!
