Omarion

American R & B artist Omarian wearing an LV Initiales Monogram Belt. I LVoe, LVoe this photo!!!

Louis Vuitton Wilshire

Also making an appearance in boutiques is the Wilshire (GM 16.7" x 12.4" x 5.5" and MM 14.1" x 10.6" x 4.9"). A structured tote that is large enough to carry a laptop or netbook, the Wilshire has an open top with a dock clip closure, pretty similar to the now iconic Neverfull. For now, it appears that the GM is only available in Amarante while the MM has Rouge Fauviste, Gris Art Deco and Amarante. Rouge Fauviste for the GM will be available around September. Check it out at www.louisvuitton.com for $1615 and $1220. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Pershing Clutch

The latest addition to the Monogram Vernis Collection is the Pershing Clutch. Simple yet sophisticated, the Pershing comes in two sizes GM (13.4" x 8.5") and PM (10.2" x 6.7") and in two colours, Amarante (below) and the much awaited Rouge Fauviste (above), a cross between (Pomme d'Amour and Amarante). The piece has credit card slots in the interior and is perfect for the little essentials. $535 for the PM; $685 for the GM; available at www.louisvuitton.com.

Speaking of Scrumptious...

Uh...I mean the large hard case that he is carrying. Is that all vache leather?!

Louis Vuitton Cabas Briska

LVook at all that leather, boyz! The Cabas Briska is part of the Men's Fall Winter 2010 2011 Line-up. Briska leather is being released this season and from the photo, I could tell that it would be scrumptious. I could almost smell and feel the buttery skin. Of course, with all that animal hide comes a hefty price tag of $3550. Knowing Vuitton, I'm sure it's all worth LVoe it!!!

What's up with this poncho?

I was at a club this weekend and saw this vid of “Just Be Good to Green” and instantly recognized the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall cape-coat on Lily Allen. I know that Kate Hudson was seen twice back in April wearing it, but doesn't it look a tad bit matronly? I guess I have to see it in real life to appreciate it. Who knows, I might end up LVoein' it?!

Todd Selby

Illustrious Photographer Todd Selby of theselby.com in his East Village Studio. Mr. Selby collaborated with Louis Vuitton's "The Journey of a man's wardrobe" for Fall Winter 2010 2011. The Mon Monogram pieces in the background were a gift from the company. Photo credit: The New York Times

Morning Mon Monogram

Snapshots of Saturday's Morning Brunch Hmmmm...Busboys and Poet's signature Neptune (crabcakes and Benedict)!!!

Louis Vuitton Columbia Beret

Even though we are dead smack in the heat of summer, I LVook forward to what LV has in store for us in the Fall, particularly the accesories. The Columbian Beret is one such example. Sporting stripes that evokes collegiate wear, the 100% wool would be perfect to ward off autumn's blustery wind. Gris, Cassis and Red are the colour choices so take your pick! LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!! $325 at www.louisvuitton.com.

Vuitton Virgin

I believe in Art and its free expression, but being an ardent devotee of the Blessed Mother, the Vuitton Madonna is kind of hard to take for me. Artist, Francesco De Molfetta, 31 takes an image of Our Lady of Lourdes, and interprets it with her veil being that of the iconic Monogram Canvas. He claims that he created the work "to denounce a society based on the cult of appearance through the use of a brand that represents the search for ephemeral happiness." The biennial is held at Isola del Gran Sasso in the central region of Abruzzo. I think he's just going for the shock factor...just my 2¢.

Louis Vuitton Macassar Neo Card Holder

One thing that I never leave the house without is my trustee Simple Card Holder. I have my driver's license, debit and train card in it. Add to the fact that it was one of the first LV's that I purchased way back when, it holds a certain sentimental value. But, I am pleased to feature the Neo Card Case from the Macassar Collection. This one can hold three credit cards and a bit of cash or maybe some receipts. The black breaks up the Monograms quite beautifully. $250 at www.louisvuitton.com.

From New York with LVoe

Capone fron New York is soooo in LVoe with Louis Vuitton that he would like to share with us some photos feauturing his large collection. Sigh, I wish that I have a cabinet full of Louis. Thanks for sending it in, C. LVoe it!!! I LVoe this shot!!!

2000th Post: Louis Vuitton Monogram Macassar Sac Ă  dos

The Monogram Macassar Line is expanding with an new interpretation of the Sac Ă  dos, a backpack for the Vuitton Man. Slated to be released in mid-August, the $2800 shoulder bag has ample room for daily essentials. I LVoe the strap detail that is peeking out at the front.

Happy Birthday, Apol!!!

Maybe we were a tad bit tipsy in this pic...(last year in San Francisco)

Sunday with Angel

Today was really hot but it was fun spending it with my good friend, Angel. Brunch at Arjay's was followed by a trip to Georgetown. Of course, despite the heat, we had to pass by Georgetown Cupcakes. After standing in line for about a half hour in 95 degree weather, we were able to grab our favourite treats. To top it all off, the owners, Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis were there, I guess to promote their show on TLC that premiered last July 16. Check it out at TLC.com. Sorry Katherine. I think Angel got nervous taking the photo.

Happy Bastille Day!!!

For Bastille Day, I decided to change the template of my blog for good. It is an homage to the Champs-Élysées Maison, mimicking the fixtures that are found within its walls. What do you guys think?
