Eternal Rest...
...grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in Your peace.
This is in honour of my father, Dante, who passed away this morning. I know we are all connected only through this blog, but I ask for your prayers. Thank you. Love you, Papa.
The death of a parent is very hard. Know that it is fine to feel sad in your own way and for however long it takes. I still feel sad at times thinking about my mother who is dead 12 years - it's just that I feel sad less often.
O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, That You give him the strength and will bear his heavy burdens, until he can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of him and have mercy while he struggle to comprehend life's hardships. Keep him ever in Your watch, 'til he can walk again with light hearts and renewed spirits.
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. You have my sincere condolences on the loss of your father.... hugs
I am so sorry for your loss..'Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilehe Rajeoon'..'To God we belong and to Him we return'..this is what Muslims say when they hear the loss of a departed soul..may God give you strength to bear this tragedy..
I am so, so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My mom passed away this January, so I know how heartbreaking it is to lose a beloved parent. *sends hugs*
I too lost my father in October 3 years ago an so I understand your grief. Take comfort in your family and friends. Stay strong! Don't forget that you are your father's living legacy!
