I have heard that Louis Vuitton would be doing Made-to-Order pieces this year but have actually not seen them being offered in the boutiques yet. Frida took these spy pics from the Stockholm, Sweden store yesterday. The Monogram Canvas Hampstead LVook amazing! Made-to-orders do not go into mass production but can be ordered from LV with an estimated delivery date of 6-8 weeks. Usually they come in earlier. Other than the Hampstead, I heard that the Galliera can be ordered in the Damier Ebene Canvas as well. Tack så mycket, Frida. YOU ARE MY FIRST LVOOK SEE contributor other than myself. ReplyDeleteJust want to share; the LV store at KLCC in Malaysia displayed some made-to-order pieces like you mentioned. Saw them in June - Galliera PM in Damier Ebene, the Hampstead in Mono, and some others too. Too bad I couldn't snap some pics! I'm tempted to order a Palermo PM in Vernis... What do you think??
Lead time on made to order is actually 6-8 MONTHS. I inquired this Monday about a Leoh in Damier Ebene with my SA at the Fifth Ave Maison and she said the earliest would be the end of January. A deposit of 50% is required when placing an order and 30% is added to the retail price for made to order.

But for Vernis Fan from SG, I was led to believe that you cannot special order anything from the Vernis Collection. It's harder to cross materials rather than canvas-to-canvas SO.
