First LVook: The Comète

eug4emi just posted in the Purse Forum her newly acquired Comète from Vuitton's Fall-Winter Shimmer Collection. This will be the first time I would be seeing the piece and how it "shimmers". It's positively breathtaking! She provided a lot of pics to enjoy. LVoe the pooch and the bag! Sheeesshhh, why didn't I waitlist for this season?! Congratulations!!!

    Is it me, or does this collection look a bit on the cheap side of things? I can't say much of course, as I've only dealt with this line through images on the web, but to me, the leather looks plastic-y and cheap. Don't get me wrong, if its Louis Vuitton, sign me up, however, in my opinion, this just looks a little too "mall-store" to be louis vuitton.
    Has anyone handled this bag in person?
