It was hard for me to name the Vernis colors since some of them go way before I ever got into LV. Luckily, as a member of the Purse Forum, I was able to pull this cheat sheet from anotheremptysky's posting way back in 2006.
Of course, let us not forget the latest additions, the amarante and violette.
Thanks so much for posting this, as i am also new to LV. Plus you never know what might be a knock-off on ebay (I know - most of them!) as it is hard to find info on past collections to research shapes, colors & materials that the real LV's were offered in. Keep up the great work here - i also love your posts about upcoming collections. I live in a rural area, with the closest store being over an hour away. cannot just pop in and check out new stuff - so i look to your blog as a way to keep 'in the know'. Thanks!
