I have always wondered what the hooplah was with the Richard Prince Firebird. I can see how some people would like the cartoon, but it was not until I saw this pic posted by chinchin_lim at the Purse Forum that I began to appreciate it more. I never realized that the equine hair had embossed monograms on it! Not only that, but the cartoon itself is embroidery with peppered hand-sewn beads and sequins. I don't know if all this justifies the $8K price tag. I guess, to each his own.
