China Run 2008

On May 23 (Jeff's birthday) to June 1, 2008, the Louis Vuitton Classic will take place in China. The China run will see 45 Classic Cars compete from Chengdu to Kunming. It's all good and interesting but what captured my attention more was the release of limited edition pieces commemorating the event. The Keepall is to die for!!! Rumour has it though that the items will only be released in China and Japan. Many an LV LVoer in the US will be quite disappointed. Visit www.louisvuitton.com.

  1. Ever since disovering your blog two weeks ago, I've been reading it everyday without fail and it just amazes me what a big fan you and your friends are. I am one too but definitely not as big as you are :) I enjoy reading them very much and you are doing a great job keeping people like me updated with LV's news.

Since you know so well about LV, I am just wondering if you know when the China Run collection will be on sale and if it will be in Hong Kong (since we are now part of China). I will also ask my SA in LV tomorrow. I like the wallet, do you know if it's a Zippy Wallet or Organizer.

    Thanks.

  2. You know what?! I don't have a clue. I assume it would be soon because the competition is only three weeks away. It looks like a Zippy to me but I could be wrong. GoodLVck and update me if you do get any items from this line.

  4. I called LV in Shenzhen today and was told that the launch of the China Run is being postponed without any indication of dates. This collection, unfortunately will not be on sale in Hong Kong. I am also a bit disapponted with this but I will try to ask my friend in Beijing to keep an eye for me. If i hear any futher news, I'll let you know.
