During my visit to the Philippines, I just couldn't help myself when I had the opportunity in Lumban, Laguna to have a Barong Tagalog, the National Philippine Costume for men, especially made with a stylized version of the Vuitton flowers. So here is my Barong in pineapple-jusi fiber. Now all I have to do is host a Philippine Gala here in DC to show it off.
PS: Lumban is one of the oldest towns in Laguna and is considered the "Embroidery Capital of the Philippines."
