Why doesn't LV go on sale???!!!

I was wondering how LV can survive the market with all the outlets and sales that the other fashion houses dish out? Do they have a secret that we don't know about?

  2. After reading the book by Hata, Louis Vuitton Japan: The Building of Luxury, I understood somewhat the company's position of not going on sale. It seems that they never need to because they don't have an inventory to get rid off. Add to the fact that LV's are not seasonal items but can be used throughout the year. The "Icons" book also made me realize that several of their pieces has withstood the test of time. Like the Speedy and Bucket...truly icons of the bag world.
