A Week in the Caribbean

Two weeks ago we celebrated Jeff's parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary on a cruise to the Caribbean.  I have never been on a ship before so I was very excited with this adventure. The first thing I noticed as we were walking to our stateroom were the Louis Vuitton luggages that people brought with them.

Growing up in an island, I was never much the waterway traveling kind.  But the open sea that first night was a sight to behold that it took my breath away.

Our first stop was Nassau, and this was the view from our balcony that Sunday morning.
For this trip, I decided that a Damier Azur Neverfull would be my LV companion.

Unlike most of the tourists, we were primarily interested in going to the Ardastra Gardens & Zoo to see the "Marching" Pink Flamingoes, Bahamas' national bird.
They are so beautiful and graceful!

Next stop was Fort Fincastle with its panoramic views of the ocean.
As well as the Queen's Staircase, made of limestone built by slaves to honor Queen Victoria's abolition of slavery in the Bahamas.

Our first day was amazing but relaxing in the ship was something I looked forward to as well.

The following morning's port was Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Our agenda for that day was visit the historic Beracha Veshalom Vegmiluth Hasidim,  the second-oldest synagogue (building) and longest in continuous use now under the American flag.
It has sand for its flooring!
Half of our day in Saint Thomas was spending it lazily on Sapphire Beach. Sadly, I was not able to visit the local Louis Vuitton Boutique here.

On our way back to the boat, they took us to a scenic overlook.
The following day was a sail day and on Wednesday, feast of the Assumption, I was able to fulfill my Catholic obligation by attending mass in Sint Maarten. Not much to see there but shopping.
The rest of the trip was a whir of activities with shows and theme nights.

It was really a blast but one of my favourite parts of the trip was the towel animals our stateroom attendant would make for special evenings.
Also, I never really and truly appreciate how beautiful the colour of the sea is.
"The sea is calling.  Answer it royally."

Azur in the US Virgin Islands

Five years ago, I would have had a heart attack setting one of my LVs on the ground. But now, it's fun to actually use 'em. LVoe it!

Celebrating the Founder's Birth

Louis Vuitton's birthday is always a special day for me. Happy Birthday, Sir!
LVoe it!!!

Quick LVook-See at Louis Vuitton

Just went to see the newly released Favorite  with Angel and I must say that it's a keeper for sure. It's a tad tight and can only hold a few essentials but the double shoulder strap makes it extremely functional without losing its element of style. Sadly, we could only take pics of the gorgeous windows but then again, it's always fun to the see the Kusamas.

Even though I am in shadow in this photo, I LVoe, LVoe, LVoe the array of colours for the Epi.

Speedy and Dessert

Just trying out Paciugo, a Gelato & Caffé place in our neighborhood.

Louis Vuitton Favorite

One of the latest releases for the Monogram Collection is the Favorite clutch. Sporting a detachable shoulder strap as well as a gold chain, this will definitely be a popular alternative to the Eva. It comes in PM and MM. LVoe it!
